The birria quesatacos are the best tacos I ever had in Hartford! It come with this sauce similar to barbacoa but I think it was beef instead of lamb. Absolutely amazingly flavorful sauce and meat and the tortillas have great texture too. The chips and salsa were complimentary, and I enjoyed it. The only problem was the bathroom was messy and dirty, which I assume they were clean but not cleaned frequently enough because people who used it before me were messy.

From the moment I dipped into their flavorful salsa - not too runny, yet bursting with deliciousness - I knew I was in for a treat. The guacamole surpassed all expectations, easily ranking among the best I've sampled in Connecticut. As for the tacos, they were a wonderful. I ordered the crispy shrimp tempura taco and the pork belly pibil tacos, and each bite was flavorful and had me craving more. My boyfriend, who also had the pork belly pibil tacos in these delectable creations, said they were his new favorites - perhaps even the best tacos he's ever had. To wash down these culinary delights, I savored a refreshing strawberry frozen margarita, which captivated my senses with its aroma of freshly squeezed lime. The perfect accompaniment to an already outstanding meal. The great dining experience at Rosa Mexicano was further enhanced by the exceptional service. The wait staff exuded warmth and cheer, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was nothing short of perfect. Their friendliness and accommodating nature truly made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Rosa Mexicano is a must-visit destination!

For the girls!!! Probably more like a 3.5 than a 4 but it's a great spot for some snacks & margs with your bff's! TBH not the best food we've ever had (some things better than others) the birria tacos were small and disappointing for the price, I'd skip. The marg pitchers are a great deal if you're with a small group! The table side guac was perfection, as always! And all 3 of us were obsessed with the Sweet Corn Esquites! We arrived around 6PM on a Saturday and I kid you not, on our drive over we saw reservations available for 5:30...5:45...6...so we figured we would be able to be seated quickly and skip the res. Silly us. When we arrived they told us the wait would be 3 hours... YEAH RIGHT?! It was pretty empty in there so I think they inflate the wait times (cheesecake factory does the same). Thankfully the bar was open so we had a great time there chatting with our amazing bartender!

This is the third time I go this place. Went here due to all Other places were packed, and was dinner before theater. Really impressed, Great service and great food. Had spirit free drinks, going with my teenage daughter. Were Great.

Recently stopped by for a birthday and had some frozen margs and Apps. It wasn't too busy , it was late on a Tuesday but it was a big group of us. The bar tenders and staff were great . I must say The Flautas were one of my favorites. They were crispy , stuffed with beef , drizzled in a sauce. Then we had nachos which were different. Every piece was covered in cheese , Jalapeño and beans, also one of the other apps was spicy bean empanadas. We were served a variety. The restaurant itself is very nice . Has a beautiful bar area. Clean and spacious. A nice vive with good music playing.
